The Cyclist's Training Bible is a broad spectrum approach to cycling for performance with sections on general nutrition, weight training and more. He also takes note of some of those challenges those not as young as they'd like to be face when building a training program. |

Are you really interested in the science of cycling? This book follows up Dr Burkes excellent earlier and less technical book "Serious Cycling". High Tech includes sections on using heart rate monitors, altitude tents and power hubs and ideas on how to best use them to further your performance goals. This is a book aimed at those with the most intense interest in how the body performs. |

While at first glance this book might appear light hearted with it's simple line drawing comics it's actually an excellent resource for the novice mountain biker. Nealy has a great ability to reduce what can be complex techniques to some basic skill buildng blocks that can show you how to practise overcoming many MTB challenges. An excellent read for both adults and children. |
